Kibbles and Bits

I know I've been terrible at keeping up with the blog lately. The reasons are: 1) I've been on Facebook and 2) nothing very blog-worthy happens in my life. Really...today's highlights are as follows:

* changing the look of my neglected blog
* 2 episodes of 90210 Season 6 on DVD during Ellen's morning nap
* surprise drop-in by my mom, complete with Panera lunch
* trip to Party America to get plates, napkins, etc. for Ellen's birthday party this Saturday
* moving on to a new novel (Atonement by Ian McEwan)
* my pictures arriving from Kodak
* getting a jingle-bell ball from Kindermusik at a reduced price
* discovering a piece of Addie's food in Ellen's mouth

We didn't make it to Target. But maybe that's a good thing...wouldn't want too much excitement in one day, now.

First of all, I like the new look. Secondly, I did NOT like Atonement. LMK what you think of it.

You are funny! Love the new look. I didn't like the movie and so decided not to read Atonment. I know,
not a good reason but, oh well!

I hear you about the lack of excitement (but really you did a bunch!)--did you get bored being at home when Ellen was so little? I'm going stir crazy--how many times can I shake a rattle during tummy time? My introverted self can only handle singing so many silly songs...

Beth - great to see you on my blog! I am just back checking it...I can't believe you left this comment back in December. I need to be better about this. Now I'm giving all my time to Facebook. :)

LOVED Atonement - movie and book. If you've read and enjoyed other Ian McEwan books, I think you'll like Atonement. I also loved On Chesil Beach by McEwan (that's the only other one of his that I've read). I would guess that his style would appeal to you, based on your favorite authors...so if you haven't yet, I say give him a try!

I definitely got bored when Ellen was super little. I still get bored! Some days just dragged on and on. And on. And on. Once Laura gets more interactive, it will get more fun!

Hope to see you both soon!
